At the reception, Mr. Vladimir Bartl said Czech Republic hopes to strengthen cooperation between Vietnam and Czech Republic at locality level, including with HCMC. He expressed his hope to re-open Consulate General of Czech Republic in the city to meet the demand and attention of businesses of Czech Republic in the city as well as to promote economic-tourism-cultural cooperation between both countries.

For his part, Mr. Liem affirmed the city will create favorable conditions for Czech Republic to soon open Consulate General in the city, saying Vietnam in general and HCMC in particular wish to further promote cooperation relations with Czech Republic to exploit both sides’ potential. He emphasized that the city will create favorable conditions for businesses of Czech Republic to invest in HCMC for mutual interests.
