The working delegation led by Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Đinh La Thang to Osaka, Hyogo, Nagano and Tokyo (Japan also included Permanent Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem and 40 representatives of related departments, agencies and enterprises. 

According to HCMC Department of Tourism, in the context of well-developed Vietnam-Japan strategic partnership, both countries’ tourism sector in general and between Japan and HCMC in particular has achieved good results.

 
The working delegation not only aimed to further promote investment and trade activities between HCMC and Japan, but also further strengthened promotion of HCMC’s tourism images to Japan, attracting Japanese investment into HCM’s tourism sector through a series of events held from April 10-14 2017.
