Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong stressed: “In his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always attaches importance of praising “examples of “good people-good thing” whose positive contributions are crucial for society. It is the best way to build the Party, revolutionary organizations, new people, and new life”.

In the past time, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee-Ho Chi Minh City, social-political unions, districts, media have introduced many groups and individuals with positive and silent contributions to the social community.  A number of examples introduced in 2016 doubled than the first time in 2016, its criteria and quality of voting is now stricter to ensure the right person with the right performance.
