On March 15, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen chaired a meeting with leaders of departments, agencies and 24 districts on implementation of use of online public services.
In a report, representative of HCMC Department of Information and Communications said, a total of 300 level-3 online public services are applied in 24 districts in fields of labor, economy, land, construction and civil status.
Among 10 departments applying online public services, HCMC Department of Education and Training takes the highest rate of applying online public services at 73%, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Transport, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Information and Communications take 68%, 59%, 38% and 31% respectively.
Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen said in spite of difficulties, departments, agencies and districts need to speed up application of online public services and consider them an important solution to build an authority for people, reducing harassment for local people and enterprises, limiting direct contacts between personnel with local people and business.
