On April 10, a high-level delegation led by Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong made a courtesy visit to Governor of Nagano Prefecture (Japan) Shuichi Abe.
According to Mr. Phong, the working visit to Nagano Prefecture aims to seek new cooperation opportunities in fields of agriculture, hi-tech industry, vocational training, education and health-care.
“Nagano Prefecture has strengths of manufacturing, supporting industry and agriculture which HCMC wishes to promote cooperation. I hope that after the visit, businesses of both sides will further discuss mechanisms and modes of cooperation”, said Mr. Phong.
For his part, Mr. Shuichi Abe welcomed the delegation of HCMC to Nagano prefecture. He expressed his hope to further promote economic and cultural cooperation based on MOU signed by both sides.
