On October 13, HCMC Union of Business Associations (HUBA) hosted the 12th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneur’s Day ( October 13 2004 – October 13 2016) and honored “HCMC’s typical entrepreneurs and enterprises” in 2016.
Attending the anniversary ceremony included Deputy Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Vo Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary & Chairwoman of HCMC People’s Council Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen and representatives of enterprises.
HUBA has chosen among registration documents 100 entrepreneurs for the title of “HCMC’s typical entrepreneurs” and 100 enterprises for the title of “HCMC’s typical enterprises in 2016”. Those are the ones who have strictly complied with the State’s laws and achieved excellent results in production and business activities, ceaselessly improving quality of business and production activities, positively participating into social and charitable activities, contributing to the construction, development of the city and the whole country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen affirmed that HCMC’s socio-economic development in the last 40 years has been accompanied by enterprises and entrepreneurs. HCMC’s leaders acknowledged and highly appreciated big contributions of entrepreneurs and enterprises to the economic development of the city.
Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen expressed his belief that enterprises and entrepreneurs in the city will continue accompanying with the Party, authority and people of HCMC in constructing HCMC a modern-civilized-sentimental city with better living quality.
