In the afternoon of March 26, Permanent Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem received the US Congressional Assistant delegation led by Ms. Natalie Rogers, Chief of Staff to Senator Cory Gardener (Colorado) in a working visit to HCMC.
At the reception, Mr. Liem expressed his delight at witnessing the well-developed Vietnam-US friendship & cooperation relations, saying the frequent high-profile visits of both countries’ leaders have helped deepen both countries’ cooperation relations.
“Vietnam in general and HCMC in particular always welcome US Senators and US Senate Staff Assistants to the city to study socio-economic development situation as well as to strengthen frequent dialogues”, stressed by Mr. Liem.
Mr. Liem also expressed his belief that through this working visit, more and more US enterprises will come, study and seek cooperation opporunities in HCMC. He affirmed the city always listen, pay attention to and create favorable for US investors to do business in the city.
