At the meeting, the city’s leaders listened to opinions of students, start-up youth generations, encouraged them to propose initiatives to bolster the increased growth of the city.

At the meeting, Mr. Phong affirmed the city has a big number of lecturers, scientists and students. The city now has more than 1 million students who will become intellectual force in the future. Mr. Phong said the city always support and create favorable conditions for students to think and to pursue creativity.

Mr. Phong added the city has put in place a long-term economic development plan based on services and sectors with high added values, strengthening application of IT based on innovation and creativity. It is a target of the city to become one of 10 global cities with a focus on building smart city, pushing up the progress of building a creative urban area in the East, attracting hi-tech enterprises with financial strengths in the context of 4.0 industrial revolution.

On behalf of the city’s leaders, Mr. Phong thanked and recognized contributing opinions of students to the city’s development, saying these opinions will be a driving force for the city to complete its policies to further develop in the future.
