Deputy Director of HOSE Le Hai Tra said HOSE commits to focus on improving awareness of sustainable development, encouraging gender equality, improving quality of awards for listed companies, building sustainable development indexes and encouraging issuance of green bonds. HOSE will call for members to respond to its activities towards a sustainable securities market.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary Dinh La Thang said Vietnam Securities Exchange in the last few years has made fast and solid development with market capitalization of 36, 9& of GDP;  effectively supporting bank credit channel and making practical contributions to socio-economic development of HCMC and of the whole country. In 2016, HOSE continued growing sustainably with market capitalization increasing by 30%, market liquidity increasing by 24% compared to 2015.

Secretary Thang expressed his hope that HOSE and its members continues staying side by side with the city to carry out key development programs, to contribute more to the deep, wide and sustainable development of stock market, making HCMC a leading financial center in the region.
