On April 10, a delegation of Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC led by Deputy Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Vo Thi Dung sent best wishes to employees of Consulate General of Lao People’s Democratic Republic on the occasion of Lao Traditional Tet Bunpimay.
In a solemn and cheerful atmosphere, Mrs. Vo Thi Dung sent her best wishes to people of Lao PDR, wishing them a happy, prosperous New Year, congratulating Lao PDR’s achievements.
Emphasizing on Vietnam-Lao PDR relation, Mrs. Dung said Lao PDR-Vietnam relation in general and of HCMC with localities of Laos have been strongly developed with positive results in many fields. As an economic engine of the whole country, Mrs. Dung said, HCMC will try its best to further foster Vietnam-Lao PDR comprehensive cooperation relation.
For his part, Consul General of Lao PDR in HCMC Somxay Sanam-oune said Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Relation have become a law of existence and development of each country, a great friendship, a special solidarity and a comprehensive cooperation relation today.
On behalf of Lao people, Mr. Somxay Sanam-oune thanked HCMC’s leaders and people for their special attention to Lao traditional Tet Bunpimay. He also expressed his deep gratitude to HCMC’s leaders for supporting people of Lao PDR’s localities and students to study in HCMC.
