On October 6, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem received Secretary of World Cultural Festival Gyeongju 2017 Lee Dong Woo.
At the reception, Mr. Lee Dong Woo said the visit to HCMC aims to introduce the world cultural festival in Gyeoingju to Korean businesses in HCMC.
Gyeongju city is the traditionally and contemporarily cultural symbol of Korea. The Gyeongju Festival 2017 takes place in HCMC in celebration of the 25th anniversary of establishment of HCMC and Gyeongju relations and of APEC. This big event will last 01 month with many activities. Mr. Lee Dong Woo expressed his belief that the event will be successfully organized in HCMC.
For his part, Mr. Le Thanh Liem highly valued the World Cultural Festival Gyeongju taken place in HCMC, saying it is a significant event marking the both sides’ relations. He expressed his hope that Mr. Lee Dong Woo will closely coordinate with relevant agencies to successfully organize this event in the city.
