On February 20, a delegation of HCMC People’s Committee led by Deputy Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thu paid visits to former officials of health sector on the occasion of 62th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day (February 27, 1955 – February 21, 2017).
In a visit to family of Doctor Truong Xuan Lieu, former Director of HCMC Department of Health, Mrs. Thu expressed her deep gratitude to Doctor Truong Xuan Lieu for her big contributions, saying that Mrs. Lieu, despite her retirement, still pays attention to the development of health sector.
On this occasion, Mrs. Thu expressed her hope that Doctor Truong Xuan Lieu continues making more contributions to the city’s health development, contributing her ideas to construction of a more developed health sector.
In a visit to Associate Prof and Doctor Tran Van Be, former director of HCMC Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, Mrs. Thu highly appreciated his contributions to the development of the city’s health sector, especially in hematology, expressing her hope that Doctor Tran Van Be continues contributing his initiatives to the health sector. Mrs. Thu wished him good health to contribute more to the health sector and to share his experience to young generations of doctors.
