In a visit to Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, Mr. Phong congratulated Editorial Boards, reporters, editors of the newspaper on the occasion of 92nd anniversary of Vietnam Journalist’s Day, saying Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper is one of the important ones to reflect the voice of the city’s authorities and people and to play an important role in informing and directing the public.
 
Mr. Phong expressed his hope that Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper continues promoting the tradition of reflecting the practical situations of HCMC as an economic-cultural-social locomotive of the whole country.

At the same day, Mr. Phong paid a visit to Vietnam News Agency. He highly valued operation results of the whole team of reporters, editors of Vietnam News Agency. “Together with other press agencies, Vietnam News Agency in the South has done a good job in propagating information in fields of culture, economy, politics, social order and security, etc. Vietnam News Agency has presented its role as a national strategic news agency”, said Mr. Phong.

In a visit to HTV, Mr. Phong highly appreciated the role of HTV in accompanying the Party and authorities of HCMC in the whole process of construction and development.

He expressed his hope that HTV, in the coming time, will make more efforts in renewing and improving both form and content of television programs, affirming the brand value of HTV with audiences of the city in particular and of the whole country in general.
