According to report, Director of HCMC Planning and Investment Department Thai Van Re said despite difficulties, HCMC’s economy enjoyed a fairly good growth in July and in the first 7 months of 2015. The import export quota (excluded crude oil); total retail sales and service turnover enjoy a slight increase compared to the same period. Price and inflation index is under good control, trade and investment promotion activities are effective, securities market is stable.

Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Le Hoang Quan noted that HCMC’s economy continues to recover in the first 7 months of 2015 and achieve or even exceed the planned targets, especially the State budget’s spending and collection. He said that the achieve results came from common efforts of the whole political system, enterprises and people.

Mr. Quan requested relevant departments, agencies, districts, etc, continue to implement key groups of solutions worked out by HCMC in August and the rest of 2015, preparing for implementation of socio-economic development plan in 2016.

He also requested relevant departments, agencies, districts to continue removing difficulties for enterprises, creating conditions for them to push up production, export activities; preparing and ensuring security for big holidays in the rest months of 2015, Party Congress at all levels, the X Party Congress of HCMC and The XII National Party Congress.
