In the first 6 months of 2017, HCMC’s economy continues growing in various fields of service, industry, agriculture. Total GRDP growth rate reached 7.46%, economic structure was shifted to the direction of transferring the growth model, reducing dependence on investment capital with service sector accounting for 57.8%; industry-construction of 23.8%, agriculture-forestry-fishery of 0.7%.
In the first 6 months, the city has 18, 030 licensed enterprises with total registered investment capital of VND 227, 514 billion, a total of 26, 137 enterprises registered for changing business contents with an additionally adjusted capital of VNd 265, 165 billion. In total, newly registered and additionally adjusted capital reached VND 492, 679 billion, 2,2 times higher than that of the same period.
To foreign investment, total investment capital including registered capital and contributing capital reached US$ 2.15 billion till Q 2 2017, 02 times higher than that of the same period.
