HCMC raises sport development fund in 10 primary schools

The Department of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh City in corordination with the city Traffic Safety Committee and Nestle Milo Company introduced a walking to raise money for a sport development fund in primary schools yesterday.

According to the plan, the walking will take place on October 5. It is expected to attract more than 7,000 parents and students from 30 primary and junior high schools in the city to take part in the walking. Participants will walk 1.6 kilometer as scheduled.

In addition to initial endowmera from the sponsor company -Nestle Milo company, all turnover from selling souvenirs, contribution of parents will be used to buy sport equipment for 10 primary schools in the city.

The program organizers will also provide training to sport teachers and push up natural extension of the fitness movement in schools, aiming to improve students' physical health  and help them relax after stressful classes.
