As per the guideline, in addition to educating students Vietnamese the tradition of patriotism, love for the homeland's sea and islands and national pride, schools should review  and refresh old lessons combining with entertainment activities, sports, soft skills, activities focusing on environmental and natural protection.

Schools should encourage clubs and teams, group members in schools to participate in volunteering activities and charity activities to help poor students in disadvantaged districts.

Teaching staffs should advise students to collect old textbooks, items for studying and white shirts for their poor peers in distant districts.

The education authority asked for a safe and useful summer vacation which takes place from June 1 to August 10.
