At the end of 2016, Japan Government has signed 02 financial aid contracts worth JPY145 billion for Metro No 1 project and water environment improvement project.
Speaking at the working visit, Secretary Dinh La Thang said HCMC highly appreciated ODA capital of Japan Government for infrastructure and environment development projects in HCMC such as West East Boulevard, Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien Metro No 1, HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway. Japan is always the biggest bilateral donor for Vietnam to help the country build basic infrastructure systems.
