The dialogue is an opportunity for HCMC’s leaders to listen to ideas of Singaporean businesses related to their investment and production activities to ensure the development of the city and both sides’ interests. Leaders of HCMC highly valued the role of Singaporean Consul General, Business Group and Singapore businesses whose contributions are crucial for the socio-economic development of the city.

 “HCMC’s authority is willing to work to promote administrative reform and to improve investment climate for foreign investors including Singaporean investors”, Mr. Liem said. He expressed his belief that the success of Singaporean businesses will be an important catalyst for attracting more Singapore investors to come to HCMC.

For her part, Singaporean Consul General Leow Sui Lin said the strong economic cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore plays an important role in both sides’ bilateral relation.

In an open minded and frank dialogue, leaders of HCMC and Singaporean have shared information related to investment policies, development orientation of the city, new points and specific solutions to attract foreign investment.
