Established in 2005, HCMC Hi-tech Training Center is one of three units that look forward to being a “Research –Development and Hi-tech Enterprise Incubation Center” in a strategy to 2020. After 10 years, the Center has achieved good results, bringing many solutions to the issue of human resource for enterprises inside and outside of the hi-tech park.

In particular, the Center has organized over 550 training courses of soft skills, technical skills, technical English and labor safety for 10,000 students, of whom are working at enterprises in the hi-tech park; linking with enterprises, institutes, schools to develop technical curriculum on enterprises’ demands, co-coordinating with enterprises inside the Hi-tech park to establish advisory council for training hi-tech human resource; incorporation with Vietnam National University –HCMC to shape project for establishing hi-tech faculty; providing 405 laborers for enterprises.

On the occasion, the Center signed deals with two units including Vietnam Posts and Telecommunication Group (VNPT) and British Council in HCMC. With VNPT, the center will establish a training center of international certificates on Microsoft technology under Microsoft IT Academy, building a test center at VNPT to get international certificates of Microsoft, setting up software development units in accordance to international standards. The deal with British Council aims to carry out training and testing activities of English language, contributing to the success of program of “improvement of quality of human recourse of HCMC.
