| HCMC has resolved difficulties and barriers related to investment procedures, contract signing, capital in advance as well as payment methods of the project for construction and investment of technical infrastructure for resettlement area No 3 under a 30 hectare Nam Rach Chiec area, An Phu Ward, District 2. Till January 2015, HCMC completed and handed over 2,460 resettlement apartments, 1,232 units are in use.

According to reports of HCMC People’s Committee, HCMC has basically completed relocation of households, individuals lining in Lot IV and VI Apartment Building, Thanh Da Apartment Building, 287/299 households are relocated at 1050 apartment building. HCMC has conducted field test and worked with investors to provide guidance on implementation of 5 social housing projects, 75 social houses were sold in January 2015, accumulated social houses sold till January 2015 stayed at 1,880 units. In January, HCMC ahs granted 5,070 construction licenses, a decrease of 609 compared to December 2014 with a total floor area of 2,7 million m2, up 119,32% (1,49 million m2) compared to December 2014. HCMC has inspected 8,282 projects, found out 165 administrative violations in construction activities, handling administrative violations with total fine of VND 657 million.
