HCMC creates favorable conditions for Czech investors

On October 22, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic Lubomir Zaoralek on his visit to Vietnam following invitation of Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Foreign Affair Pham Binh Minh.

At the meeting, Mr. Lubomir Zaoralek highly valued achievements of Vietnam, especially that of HCMC as an economic driving force for the common development of the whole country. He said that Czech Republic is paying a special attention to strengthening trade co-operation with Vietnam, saying that the co-operation between both countries is still modest and not matched with both sides’ potential. Czech Republic is now boosting its export of industrial equipments to not only Europe but also to Asian markets including Vietnam.

 

Mr. Lubomir Zaoralek expressed his hope to expand co-operation with Vietnam in fields of education, culture, hunman resource, etc, to bring both sides’ relation to a new height.

 

In his part, Mr. Le Hoang Quan expressed his deep thanks to the Government and people of Czech Republic for the support and assistance for Vietnam in the struggle for liberation, independence and in the process of construction and development. Mr. Quan hoped that the working visit of Mr. Lubomir Zaorlek will open door for many effective co-operation programs, especially in fields of trade, education and culture. He also affirmed that authority of HCMC will create favorable conditions for Czech investors to promote trade co-operation.
