On August 18, Vice Chairwoman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong chaired a meeting on market survey, tourism-trade promotion conference bringing Vietnamese goods to Russia.
According to HCMC Department of Trade and Industry, a total of 40 companies registered for participation, of which 15 will displays their products in fields of food, textile and garment, leather, shoe, handicraft, jewelry, etc.
Investment and Trade Promotion Center of HCMC (ITPC) said it will attend some seminars and events including the Tourism-Trade Promotion and business connectivity in Moscow and St Petersburg (Russia); working with authorities of Moscow and St Petersburg; paying a visit to Vietnam Embassy in Moscow; conducting market survey, etc, from Sep 13-21, 2015.
At the meeting, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong requested HCMC Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Tourism, ITPC to coordinate to organize a successful business trip to Russia, presenting the spirit of friendship co-operation established by HCMC with Moscow and St Petersburg by bringing Vietnamese products to Russian market.
