According to a report of HCMC Department of Planning and Investment, there are now 153 investment projects under Public Private Partnership (PPP) operating in the city worth VND 450, 000 billion, of which 23 are completed mainly in fields of transport, environment.
Although projects under form of PPP accounts only for 5% of all public investment projects of the city but mobilize a total capital 5 times higher than that of public projects in 2011-2015. This is one of the suitable investment attraction solutions of the city. The city is now calling for 130 investment projects under PPP with total investment capital of VND 380,000 billion in fields of transport, environment, construction of apartment buildings, urban gentrification, health, education, etc.
HCMC Department of Planning and Investment will open a specific column on its website to provide detailed information about projects calling for investment or public projects transferred to PPP projects.
