Of which, domestic revenue is VND 75,645 billion, up 9,46% compared to the same period, VND 12,087 billion from crude oil, equivalent to 37,77% as planned, down 22,76% compared to the same period, budget collection from import and export is estimated at VND 47,000 billion, equivalent to 52,22% as planned, up 11, 54% compared to the same period.

Director of HCMC Department of Finance Dao Thi Huong Lan said total expenditure of local state budget is estimated at VND18, 661 billion, accounting for 34, 17% as planned, up 3, 17% compared to the same period. The reason comes from the Government’s policy to practice thrift which said saving 10% of state budget in the last 7 months of 2015, reducing spending on unnecessary fields. So supervision agencies must strictly control the spending of related departments and sectors.

Spending for investment is estimated at VND7, 039 billion, equivalent to 32, 93% of the estimate, up 1, 2% compared to the same period. Disbursement rate of development investment expenditure is estimated at VND 6, 979 billion, equivalent to 41, 15% of the estimate, up 18, 41% compared to the same period. This proves that disbursement speed is higher than that of the same period; a regular spending of VND 11,531 billion, equivalent to 36, 61% of the estimate, up 6, 05% of the same period.

According to Mrs. Lan, the result of stage budget collection and expenditure in HCMC in the first 6 months of 2015 is moderately good compared the estimate and a little bit higher than that of the same period due to positive changes of business and production situation, close guidance of HCMC People’s Committee, proactive direction of tax collecting units, regular management and control measures. Budget expenditure ensures shift practice and help balance regular and urgent revenue and spending of HCMC.
