On November 8, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Huynh Cach Mang received a business delegation from Shiga prefecture (Japan) led by Governor Taizo Mikazuki in a courtesy visit to HCMC.
At the reception, Mr. Huynh Cach Mang highly valued the well-developed cooperation relation between Vietnam and Japan, including between HCMC with localities of Japan.
Highly valued strength and potential of Shiga, Mr. Huynh Cach Mang commented that Shiga has strengths of agriculture, environment, especially natural water reuse management technology. Mr. Mang expressed his hope to study this technology to ensure the natural water resuse management of the city.
Beside agriculture and industry, Mr. Mang also expressed his hope to promote tourism cooperation as well as to strengthen cuisine exchange activities between HCMC and Shiga.
