On October 27, Department of Tourism and Culture of Nagoya city (Aichi province, Japan) held a seminar on Nagoya tourism promotion and exhibition in HCMC. The event aims to concretize cooperation between HCMC and Aichi since signing MOU on friendship and cooperation relations on September 2016.
Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong highly valued trade and tourism promotion activities organized by Nagoya in HCMC, saying this is a good opportunity for both sides’ enterprises to have a panoramic view of demand, potential as well as tourism cooperation opportunities between both sides in the future. HCMC always considers Japan as one of its key markets on tourism cooperation.
Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises have been promoting many tourism programs to bring Vietnamese visitors to Japan and vice versa. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong expressed his belief that with available potential, HCMC and Nagoya will become ideal destinations for both sides’ visitors. These will contribute to development of HCMC-Nagoya cooperation as well as further improvement of Vietnam-Japan Strategic Partnership.
A representative of Nagoya Department of Tourism and Culture also expressed his thanks to HCMC’s departments and agencies for support and assistance in organizing the tourism promotion and exhibition seminar in the city. The organizing board expressed its hope that the seminar will open more tourism cooperation opportunities between HCMC and Nagoya, promoting attractive destinations of Nagoya to Vietnamese visitors in general and of HCMC in particular. Nagoya also expressed its hope to receive more Vietnamese visitors in the coming time.
