At the reception, Mr. Phong said with ceaseless efforts of both Parties, Vietnam and China have gained significant paces. In 2017, both countries have exchanged many mutual high-profile visits on purpose of deepening strategic partnership and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and China.

In HCMC, till Nov 2018, China has a total of 225 investment projects in valid wroth US$ 157 milion, ranked 19/100 countries and territories investing in the city. In 2017, import-export value of both countries reached over US$ 16 billion. China is now one of the five largest tourism markets of HCMC.

Mr. Phong said: HCMC has so far established cooperation relations with 8 localities of China, saying that this visit of Mr. Du Jia Hao will open opportunities for HCMC and Hunan to promote friendship and cooperation relations in fields of economy, culture, society, tourism, etc. contributing to the commom development of both countries.

For his part, Mr. De Jia Hao affirmed taht Vietnam-China Friendship Relation has been strengthened and reinforced in many fields. He expressed his hope that Hunan and HCMC will continue their exchange and cooperation activities in fields of economy, trade, investment, education, tourism, infrastructure, smart city, etc. contributing to the well-established copoperation relations between the Parties and People of both countries.
