On February 27, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen received Mr. Jean-Vincent Place, French Minister for Government Reform and Simplification who was on a working visit to Vietnam.
At the reception, Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen thanked France for its support for HCMC in the recent years, saying that the city hopes to receive more support from French Government on the construction of development of the city, especially financial support in improving quality of human resource and building urban city scheme.
Mr. Tuyen also expressed his hope to cooperate with France to build management policies, develop IT and Communications, build scheme on urban city to solve health related issues, to reduce traffic congestion and flooding in the city.
For his part, Mr. Jean - Vincent Place affirmed that Vietnam-France cooperation relations have been continuously strengthened and developed, saying French Government hopes to build stronger cooperation relation with Vietnam, including HCMC in fields of France’s strengths and Vietnam’s concerns.
