At the meeting, Mr. Park Soo Kwan affirmed: “The visit is warmly welcomed by Korean people and media”. Expressing his delight, Mr. Dinh la Thang highly valued dynamism of Mr. Park Soo Kwan in promoting cooperation between HCMC and Busan.

Mr. Dinh La Thang expressed his hope that Mr. Park Soo Kwan would continue bringing into play the linking bridge for cooperation between both cities, especially supporting Korean enterprises who are interested in investing in HCMC, seeking effective solutions to promote and expand Vietnam-Korea cooperation in general and HCMC-Korea in particular.
 

Expressing his thanks to Vietnam Government and HCMC’s authorities for their support to the launch of Busan bank branch in HCMC, Mr. Park Soo Kwan said he will coordinate with functional organs and enterprises of Busan City to further encourage more Korean enterprises to invest in HCMC, especially in fields of steel, automobile accessories, semi-conductors, seafood, industrial plastic, etc. Mr. Park Soo Kwan added that he will try his best to contribute to the good friendship & cooperation relation between Vietnam and Korea.

On the evening of September 9, Mr. Park Soo Kwan chaired a formal reception for HCMC’s delegation with participation of leaders of enterprises and firms of Busan city.
 

Speaking at the reception ceremony, Mr. Dinh La Thang said the relation between HCMC and Busan is a symbol of dynamism and efficiency. In the last 20 years, HCMC and Busan have done a good job at exploiting mutual advantages and promoting effective cooperation. Apart from positive trade and investment cooperation, cultural exchange activities between both cities also contribute to the multi-faceted cooperation relations between HCMC and Busan. It not only helps bring people of both sides closer, but also build a sustainable foundation for long friendship relation between HCMC and localities of Korea.

Chairman of Busan City People’s Council Bak Jog-heon affirmed: “The reception ceremony with participation of many leaders of Busan enterprises presents a special attention and emotion of Busan people with HCMC. I hope that the visit will further promote cooperation relation between both cities, both sides will be hand in hand to cooperate for mutual prosperity”.
