At the working session, Mr. Le Thanh Liem affirmed that the traditional friendship relation between Vietnam and Malaysia has been well-developed in many fields. Till June 2016, Malaysia ranks 2nd in HCMC with 220 projects in valid worth US$ 5 billion.

Mr. Le Thanh Liem highly valued the role of Malaysian Consul General, Malaysian Business Association and Malaysian Business Community in the city. He affirmed to create the most favorable conditions for Malaysian enterprises to study and invest in the city, to contribute to the sustainable development of HCMC.

Malaysian Consul General Encik Sofian Akmal Abd Karim expressed his belief that the meeting will further tighten the friendship relation and support Malaysian enterprises to study investment opportunities in the city in the coming time.
