HCMC advances VND165 bln to hasten major projects

The People Committee of HCMC has accepted to advance VND165 billion from the city budget to major, urgent projects in the area.
Specifically, the city advanced VND 20 billion to Area Urban Traffic Management No.1 to deploy project of upgrading and improving Nguyen Hue Street in District 1.
VND145 billion will be sent to Investment Management Board project of dredging mud from Soai Rap River.
With other projects, the city asked the Departments of Planning and Investment, and Finance to check the real progress rate of projects’ deployment, based on urgency and ability of balancing the accounts to consider, manage funds for the projects in the second stage this year or advance to deploy.
