HCM City will create favorable conditions for Polish companies to do business and seek partners in the city, said Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan while receiving Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Katarzyna Kacperczyk on June 13, 2014.

Speaking at the meeting, Quan expressed pleasure with the good friendship and cooperation in many fields between Vietnam and Poland since the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1950.
Vietnam has received great support from Poland in the past struggle for national independence and the current development process, Quan said.
He believed the visit of the Polish Deputy Minister will contribute to strengthening the multifaceted cooperation between Poland and Vietnam in general, and HCM City in particular.
Ms Katarzyna Kacperczyk said Poland has always considered Vietnam as a key trade partner and believed both countries have many positive factors to deepen bilateral cooperation in the future.
Ms Kacperczyk said Poland will have many opportunities to strengthen cooperation with HCM City – the economic hub of Vietnam – especially in the fields Polish companies have competitive advantages such as agricultural products, green energy technologies, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, information technology, mining technologies and services…
Earlier on the same day, the delegation attended the Vietnam-Poland Economic Forum held in HCM City.
