HCM City is interested in establishing a partnership with Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia, to promote all-round cooperation between the two countries, said Chairman of the municipal People's Committee during his reception for visiting Slovakian Defense Minister Martin Glavac on June 11.
The chairman said bilateral relationship has been growing towards more effectiveness and suggested the two countries to consolidate their economic, trade, education and training cooperation as there is untapped potential for development.
He also expressed his thanks to the important support Slovakia has provided to Vietnam.
The Slovakian minister expressed his positive impression on the strong and stable development of the socio-economy of Vietnam and HCM City. He also hoped solutions will be worked out to promote cooperation between Slovakia with Vietnam in general and the city in particular.
