Mr. Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of HCM City’s People’s Committee has urged newly-appointed Vietnamese diplomats to work abroad to work closely with the city with regular provision of market updates, especially of those potential ones, items enjoying preferential tariffs as well as information on partners and competition rivals.
Mr. Le Hoang Quan was receiving a delegation of newly-appointed heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad for the 2015-2018 tenure led by Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong on June 3.
He also wants information on policies, legal regulations on the countries, where they will work for the tenure, support programs the goverments allocated to Vietnamese businesses and areas they call for investment that suit Vietnamese investors.
He appreciated the positive support to the city’s trade and investment promotion activities and hoped the new ambassadors and consuls general would help strengthen cooperation between Vietnam in general and his city in particular and countries and territories all over the world.
