Mr. Tat Thanh Cang, Vice Secretary of HCMC Party’s Committee – Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee, Mr. Le Hoai Quoc, Head of Management Board of Saigon Hi-tech Park, Mr. Le Quoc Cuong, Deputy Director of Department of Information and Communication attended the ceremony.

The project has a total investment capital of VND 860 billion on an area of 52 hectares. Once completed, Saigon Silicon City will become a smart city, all facilities and infrastructure will be ready for attracting foreign and domestic investors in hi-tech sector,

Mr. Le Hoai Quoc expressed his hope that the project will attract over 20 investors in hi-tech sector with total investment capital of US$ 1, 5 billion in the next 5 years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tat Thanh Cang welcomed Vietnamese entrepreneurs at Silicon USA to invest in Saigon Hi-tech Park, saying that he hoped Saigon Silicon City will be soon put into operation in 2015.
