Green Consumption Campaign attracts millions of attendees

Over 3.7 million people have responded to the Green Consumption Campaign in Ho Chi Minh City, said the campaign’s organization board chaired by the city People’s Committee on July 3.
Sales revenue of businesses joining the campaign increased 10.2 percent over normal in June. Co.opMart supermarket chain presented customers with 230,000 environmentally friendly bags.
A writing contest themed ‘Children join hand to protect environment’ has been organized for the first time and received more than 1,170 papers from children at the ages of 8-12.
Some pictures drawn by them will be printed on the environmentally friendly bags to present ‘green consumers’.
