At the reception, Mr. Le Thanh Liem expressed his delight at witnessing the deeply developed strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany. He also expected to see more German investors coming to boost trade promotion activities and to create strong changes in economic cooperation and to enhance trade exchange value. He affirmed that HCMC commits to create favorable conditions and attractive investment environment for foreign investors, including German ones.

For her part, Mrs. Iris Gleicke also expressed her delight at positive cooperation results between Vietnam and Germany, saying German Government and businesses always hope to expand economic cooperation with Vietnam. Germany businesses highly appreciates dynamic development of HCMC, 90% of German investment projects now focus in HCMC.
 
She added that German hopes to soon establish representative offices for German businesses in Vietnam in the coming time, especially in HCMC to further tighten frequent cooperation relations and to bring practical benefits to both sides.
