In the evening of January 23, Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO) organized a new year meeting with foreign Consulate Generals, international organizations, representative offices of foreign economic organs in HCMC. Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee attended and gave speech
| Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Liem emphasized that the meeting is a special occasion for FOSCO to honor partners. Apart from service trading, FOSCO has done a good job of public diplomacy, building positive co-operation relationships with foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations, non-governmental organizations and representative offices of foreign economic organs. Mr. Liem said that in December 2014, FOSCO was authorized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in recruiting and managing Vietnamese employees working for foreign organizations and individuals in 20 cities and provinces in Southern Vietnam. This is an good opportunity for FOSCO to better meet the demand of services of foreign offices and organizations operating in Vietnam.

In the last 35 years of establishment of development, FOSCO has always completed its tasks assigned by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and HCMC People’s Committee. End of 2014, apart from satisfying demands of housing and headquarters for diplomatic missions, enhancing quantity and quality of kindergartens for foreign children, FOSCO also supplied and managed 10.000 Vietnamese laborers working at 1, 250 foreign offices and organizations.
