First hydroplanes operates on HCMC-Mui Ne route

The first two hydroplanes carrying 14 Russian tourists on January 3 landed in fresh-water Bau Trang a famous landscape about 20 km from Mui Ne, in Phan Thiet City.
Private air carrier Hai Au airlines debuted hydroplanes with its new route linking Ho Chi Minh City and Mui Ne.
Mr. Thai Hoang Dung from Hai Au airlines said that a hydroplane can carry 12 passengers but it just carry 6-8 people in order to ensure safety. The airlines has operated two flights between the two locations per day.
A one-way ticket costs at US$250 for an international traveler and US$175 for a Vietnamese passenger.
