Exhibition on Vietnam’s sovereignty over Paracel Island opens in HCM City

An outdoor historical exhibition showing Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos was opened at the September 23rd Park in Ho Chi Minh City on July 11.
The exhibition (photo) showcases ancient maps and Nguyen Dynasty royal documents indicating Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.
The display also presents to viewers 60 paintings affirming the national sovereignty over islands and seas; hailing the marine police’s performance in protecting the country; encouraging fishermen in their fishing at deep sea; and conveying warm sentiments from people across the country towards their beloved sea and island.
