The City People's Committee has instructed the departments, committees, branches and People's Committees of Districts to seriously implement the assigned responsibilities for the construction, management and exploitation of the National Database on Population as stipulated in the Citizen Identity Law.
The HCMC Police will coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations to disseminate to each household, individual, organization or enterprise in the locality about the position and role of the national database on population; rights and obligations of agencies, organizations and individuals in building, managing and exploiting the national database on population; chair the implementation of the construction, management, operation and exploitation of the national database on population; guide, inspect and urge the departments, branches and localities to perform their assigned responsibilities in organizing the collection of population information.
