HCMC People’s Committee assigns Department of Tourism the job of coordinating with relevant departments and agencies to set up tourism development plan in 2016-2020 that is suitable with socio-economic development plan of HCMC, the plan will be submitted to HCMC People’s Committee in January 2016. Besides, HCMC will standardize quality of propaganda publications in Vietnamese and foreign languages, effectively implementing domestic tourism stimulus programs, encouraging tourism companies in HCMC to develop preferential tourism service packages for overseas Vietnamese.


Saigon Tourist is in charge of doing research on arranging promotion booths and sales of handicrafts at hotels under Saigon Tourist, especially hotels and stores in Nguyen Hue Street.
