On March 24, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Hua Ngoc Thuan received a delegation of Tokyo University (Japan) led by Associate Professor and Dr. Hiroyuky Kawashima. The delegation visits HCMC to seek co-operation opportunities in education sector.
At the meeting, Mr. Hiroyuki Kawashima said Tokyo University is doing a research on Japanese large companies on purpose of further promoting Japanese investment to Vietnam because there is an increasing interest of Japanese companies in Vietnam. Tokyo University has a rich experience in training human resource and doing research on how to solve emerging problems in the process of development of urban area in Tokyo. Tokyo University is willing to share its experience with HCMC.
Mr. Hua Ngoc Thuan said that authority of HCMC is interesting in developing human resource to meet the needs of development and integration. Mr. Thuan hopes that the visit of Tokyo University will open many co-operation opportunities in the education sector with HCMC, this is a good preparation for joint training activities of Tokyo University in HCMC in the future.
