On January 24, a delegation led by Permanent Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem paid a Tet visit and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vo Thi So.
In the visit, Mr. Liem highly appreciated great contributions of Heroic Mother Vo Thi So to the national liberation, wished her good health, lucid wisdom to be the bright example for the next generations.
In a visit to Mr. Than Ky, a pre-uprising official, in Binh Hung Hoa A Ward, Tan Phu District. Mr. Liem expressed his gratitude and honored Mr. Than Ky’s contributions to the process of national liberation and independence. Mr. Liem hoped that Mr. Thanh Ky and his family continue to bring into play revolutionary tradition and to contribute to the construction of the nation.
In a visit to Mr. Pham Duong, an elderly man (100 year old) of a policy beneficiary family in Binh Hung Hoa Ward, Tan Phu District, Mr. Liem wished him good health, long life with his grandchildren. On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Liem gave him a congratulation card signed by President Tran Dai Quang; golden plaque of HCMC Party, People’s Council, People’s Committees and Vietnam Fatherland Front – HCMC.
