Delegation of Nagasaki province visits HCMC

On August 27, Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan received a delegation from Nagasaki province (Japan) led by Governor Nakamura Houdou on a working visit to HCMC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 100 member delegation on a visit to HCMC aims to strengthen relations between Nagasaki and Vietnam as well as to promote co-operation with HCMC.

 

Most of businesses from Nagasaki showed their interest in economic co-operation, tourism, training and education, environmental protection, etc. Mr. Nakamura Houdou expressed his hope that HCMC will create favorable condition for businesses of Nagasaki to seek investment opportunities in the coming time.

 

At the meeting, Mr. Le Hoang Quan welcomed the visit of Governor Nakamura Houdou and thanked people of Nagasaki for giving love to Vietnamese people. Mr. Quan expressed his belief that the visit will further develop the relationship between HCMC and Nagasaki, he affirmed HCMC will create every favorable condition for businesses of Nagasaki to invest in HCMC.

 

Japan is now ranked 2nd in foreign countries investing in HCMC with total investment capital of US$ 8billion. HCMC is now establishing friendship and co-operation relations with many localities of Japan such as Osaka, Hyogo, Shiga, Yokohama. HCMC has signed economic co-operation deals with Kansai province and looking forward to strengthening cooperation with other localities of Japan in fields of economy, investment, trade, education, tourism, etc.
