On March 26, at 23/9 Park, District 1, HCMC, Day Tours 2015 of HCMC has kicked off with a theme: “Impressive world heritages in Vietnam” co-organized by HCMC Department of Tourism, HCMC Tourism Association, Southern Business Bureau (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism). The festival is attended by Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong, Deputy Chairwoman of HCMC People’s Committee and numerous people of HCMC.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong affirmed Day Tours 2015 of HCMC aims to stimulate tourism and to promote tourist sites, to create favorable environment for consumers and enterprises to meet, exchange tourism products and services. These activities help HCMC tourism sector develop and make the Day Tours be a tourism supermarket year by year, attracting more buyers and sellers with a wide range of high quality products, services, prestigious brands which are suitable for the demands and the tastes of every segments of tourists.
Mrs. Hong said that 2015 will see many important events of the whole country, especially HCMC is preparing for the 40th anniversary of Southern liberation and national reunification (April 30, 1975-April 30, 2015). In 2015, HCMC tourism sector continues to focus on developing in the direction of professional, stability with peculiar brand and identity, concentrating on tourism promotion activities.

Day Tours 2015 of HCMC attracted 150 booths from 80 unites including travel agencies, hotels, universities from cities and provinces nationwide. At the festival, enterprises in fields of tourism transport, catering, etc, have showed many stimulus and promotion programs with many new products and services at the preferential price (10-30% discount)
