On January 29, HCMC Union of Friendship Organizations and Consulate General of Thailand in HCMC coordinated with Pham Van Hai Commune’s People’s Committee, Binh Chanh District to present houses of gratitude to Mr. Hoang Van Toan and his family.

The house was newly constructed with total amount of VND 50 million raised by Consulate General of Thailand. Mr. Toan and his family has a life of hardship due to unstable job. The family lives on a temporary house.

Speaking at the hand-over ceremony, on behalf of local authorities, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen, Deputy Chairwoman of Pham Van Hai Commune, thanked Consulate General of Thailand and HCMC Union of Friendship Organizations for their significant program. She hoped that the new house will give Mr. Toan and his family new energy and courage to feel secure, to work hard and escape poverty.
