On October 6, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee chaired a meeting with HCMC Department of Transport on design work of the traffic road from My Thuy to Ring Road 2, District 2.
As reported, an 8 lane flyover will be built at the My Thuy - Ring Road 2 intersection a two lane precast viaduct. There are 4 arch roads connecting to main roads at the Pham Van Dong-Nguyen Thi Dinh intersection. Once completed, the project will ease traffic pressure for container trucks at Cat Lai port, Pham Van Dong – Nguyen Thi Dinh intersection, Ring Road 2 and An Phu intersection, etc.
Total investment capital of this project is estimated at VND 1,585 billion, the first phase is expected to be completed in 2018.
At the meeting, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Huu Tin assigned Department of Transport, Department of Planning and Architecture the job of completing a land plot of 1/2000 scale, legal documents and submitted to HCMC People’s Council.
