On the occasion of of the 74th anniversary of Vietnam Elderly Day, HCM City Chairman Le Hoang Quan on June 2 paid visits and presented gifts to the elderlies, who havegreat contribution to the national liberation and development.
The Chairman visited the Vietnam Heroic Mother Vo Thi Lau and veteran revolutionary Nguyen Van Boi, who are living in the outer district of Can Gio and wish them longevity to continue being bright examples to the young generation.
On the same day, Vo Thi Dung, Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee’s HCM City Chapter visited the elderlies who are 90 and older living in Tan Phu District, wishing them good health, joys and longevity
She said their contribution to the country’s common cause would give excellent lessons for the youth.
